SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a RFI/sources sought only. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 811210 (size standard of $34 Million). Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 15 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide the following,: Repair of Integrated lighting and equipment boom project The Kansas City VA Medical Center, Surgical Services is requesting the painting of the integrated equipment boom system (Skytron Stellar X) in the OR with the goal of returning all equipment to normal operation. This project requires coordination with the project manager and the appropriate facilities and biomed departments. Equipment utility requirements, equipment mounting requirements, and installation schedule shall be discussed and coordinated with the project manager, facilities and biomed representatives. Currently, OR rooms 1,3,5 and 8 have chipping paint on the arms of the integrated boom system. This is a request for painting only of the currently installed, ceiling mounted, surgical lighting system. Vendor will be required to evaluate damages and ensure the quote will cover all damaged equipment, repair equipment back to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, and fully test system for operation to confirm repairs. Period of Performance: NLT than 30 days After Receipt of Order (ARO) to include delivery, assembly, configuration, testing and installation of all equipment. Delivery to the KCVAMC according to schedule and timeline established by VA. Assembly and installation shall be completed by the Contractor at the KCVAMC within 10 days of equipment delivery. The information identified above are intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the required specifications. If you are interested and are capable of providing the sought-out services, please provide the requested information as well as the information indicated below.
