The VISN21 Sierra Pacific Network requires Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy training for 20 mental health clinicians to increase access to this specialized treatment, particularly for conditions like PTSD. This virtual training will be conducted by an EMDRIA-certified instructor in two three-day sessions during Fiscal Year 2025. The core objective is for participants to master the Adaptive Information Processing approach, the eight phases of EMDR therapy, and its application across diverse patient populations, including adaptations for telehealth. VISN 21 is seeking a certified EMDR Instructor to train 20 Mental Health Clinical staff.
