This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN). Any information submitted by respondents to this request is strictly voluntary. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ), nor does its issuance obligate or restrict the Government to an eventual acquisition approach. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses from this SSN or pay for the preparation of any information submitted or for the use of such information. All information received from this SSN is for market research purposes only in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. Not responding to this SSN does not preclude participation in a future solicitation, if any is issued.
BACKGROUND
The General Services Administration (GSA) Global Supply (GGS) provides supply chain solutions for the global needs of its customers by delivering dependable, reliable, and timely supplies at best value. The GGS business line manages global supply acquisition and distribution functions. It is a vital component of the National Supply System, and supports military, civilian, and some state/local supply requirements throughout the world. Large-scale support is provided through two large distribution centers, acquisition call centers, and more than 30 stores and forward supply points located within the Continental United States (CONUS) and abroad, including multiple sites in Europe and Asia. Approximately 30% of GGS’ business is shipped through the Defense Transportation System (DTS). All GGS items satisfy requirements outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), executive orders on environmental policy and other relevant procurement policy.
The General Services Administration’s Office of General Supplies & Services (GSS) is seeking to acquire commercially available Boards and Bulletin Systems National Stock Numbers (NSNs) under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 339940. The period of performance for this acquisition is a six (6) month base period and one (1) one year option period. The applicable NSNs are listed below. All items must be Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant.

PURPOSE
GSA is issuing this SSN to gather feedback from industry and any other relevant stakeholders for the procurement of Various Boards and Bulletin Systems NSNs. The information received will be utilized within GSA for market research purposes.. Information received in response to this notice will not be evaluated or considered as an offer. GSA seeking a solution for all of our orders regarding Requisitioning.
GSA is requesting feedback regarding the following in a capabilities statement:
- Is your company familiar with GSA Global Supply and requisitions?
- Can your company source items that meet the NSN’s Item Purchase Descriptions (NSNs)? Can your company source all of the NSNs? If not, list which NSNs your company can source.
- Is your company capable of complying with MIL-STD-129R and FED-STD-123H marking and labeling? Orders will be shipped state-side directly to CONUS customers or to CONUS Consolidation points for OCONUS ultimate consignees.
- Do you have EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)? Please visit www.gsa.gov/EDI for more information regarding the EDI transactions GSA requires.
- What is the suggested minimum dollar order amount?

GSA requests feedback and questions with regard to this SSN. Responses and questions must be provided (15 calendar days after post) no later than 5:00 pm EST on May 23, 2024. Verbal feedback and questions WILL NOT be accepted.
