SCOPE: Preventative and Remedial Maintenance of Port Authority’s Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Supervisory and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has deployed Kapsch TrafficCom USA (Kapsch) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at George Washington Bridge, Bayonne Bridge and Goethals Bridge, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) at the Holland and Lincoln Tunnel, George Washington, Midtown Bus Terminal, and Bayonne Bridge and these systems will require continued maintenance and support services. Kapsch is the sole provider of the Dynamic Network Analysis and Control (DYNAC) software, which is the Port Authority’s Agencywide Transportation Management Software’s (ATMS) platform to support ITS assets and the SCADA platform, which is used at George Washington Bridge, Bayonne Bridge and Goethals Bridge. To ensure compatibility and continued operability with existing systems, to reduce operation and maintenance costs, and to maintain single source maintenance responsibilities, it is necessary to continue to retain services from Kapsch.
