The NIH Fire Department of Fire and Rescue Service (DFRS) provides fire, emergency medical, hazardous materials and specialized rescue services to the NIH Bethesda MD campus and surrounding communities of Montgomery County, Maryland. The DFRS provides this service with a hazardous materials response unit, fire suppression engine, 100ft aerial platform truck, BLS transport and a technical response unit. The purpose of this Contract is to acquire a Seagrave Marauder, 95’ Aerialscope, mid-mount aerial tower or (Brand name or Equal) to meet the design specifications provided by the National Institutes of Health Fire Department also known as The Division of Fire and Rescue Services (DFRS).This requirement is to provide NIH customers with a new Seagrave Marauder Aerialscope Aerial Tower Firetruck that will remain compliant with the NFPA Standard for fire and rescue services.
