2.2.1 The Contractor shall provide a minimum of 20 (twenty) secured plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels for destruction of confidential documents (shredding). 2.2.2 The Contractor shall retain ownership of the secured plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels. 2.2.3 The secured plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels shall hold a minimum of 96 gallons. No minimum or maximum shredding weight is guaranteed or implied. 2.2.4 The secured plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels shall have a mail slot located on the top for receiving documents with the slot no wider than 3 inches and shall be equipped with a lock to prevent access to documents inside the plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels. 2.2.5 The secured plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels shall have a tamper evident locking system and be made of a fire-resistant material. 2.2.6 The secured plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels shall be of uniform color and clearly marked to indicate the container is only for confidential documents for destruction. 2.2.7 The keys associated with the lock for the secure plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with lids and wheels shall be given to the MD SHA HQ Contract Manager or Authorized Representative in triplicate at contract signing. If the keys are lost, the Contractor will supply new keys at no additional charge to the Agency. 2.2.8 The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining all secured plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels in good working order, cleaning containers as necessary, and providing replacement and or additional secured plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels as requested by the MD SHA HQ Contract Manager or Authorized Representative. 2.2.9 The Contractor shall agree that The Maryland State Highway Administration Headquarters shall not be responsible for any liability incurred by the Contractor or the Contractor's personnel arising out of the possession, use, maintenance, delivery, return, and or collection from the secured plastic bulk boxes/containers/locking security containers with attached lids and wheels provided by the Contractor
