The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from firms who wish to be considered to provide supplies and services for the manufacture and replacement of Amtrak’s Single Level Fleet. Amtrak is soliciting Offers from established Railcar manufacturers to perform engineering, design, production, assembly, inspection, testing, delivery, warranty services and maintenance support services. In order to be qualified as a registered Potential Offeror, you must be an established Car Builder who has prior experience successfully designing and manufacturing rail vehicles for the North American passenger rail market.
