The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA), Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services (OAGS), is conducting market research for OIMT ISS Cybersecurity Compliance. The FDA Cybersecurity Program provides near real-time cybersecurity capabilities and risk management methodologies to protect sensitive data and information systems in support of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's public health mission.
Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) will be utilized for a potential solicitation for a competitive 8(a) and/or Alaska Native American Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for FDA-ISS. The FDA is responsible for protecting and promoting public health through the regulation and supervision of food safety, tobacco products, dietary supplements, prescription, and over-the-counter pharmaceutical drugs (medications), vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, blood transfusions, medical devices, electromagnetic radiation emitting devices (ERED), veterinary products, and cosmetics. This is accomplished through the regulatory review of sponsor submissions with data in standardized formats.
The Contractor shall provide the support in these various areas (to be defined fully in individual task orders. Multiple tasks may be developed under task areas described in the Statement of Work (SOW).
