a. Contractor shall obtain the necessary permits, certification, and provide the necessary equipment, tools, transportation, materials, labor, supervision and incidental materials (plants, mulch, etc.) to perform the landscaping services to include, but is not limited to: mowing, weeding, edging, pruning, cutting, trimming, planting, fertilizing, mulching, hand watering, site policing, trash removal and disposal, and any other landscape related service in accordance with this scope of work in order to present a well-groomed appearance to the Authority at all times b. Service locations include but are not limited to: WMATA N99 Dulles Rail Yard, Traction Power Substations (TPSS) #s 12, 13, 14, 18, 19 & 20; Tie Breaker Stations (TBS) #6 & 11; Ancillary Areas # 1-23 as included in Paragraph 9 – Locations of Work & Constraints. Facilities Maintenance (FMNT) Supervisor or above will inspect each location to validate services rendered. c. WMATA reserves the right to add or remove locations at any time with an approved Modification. d. Uniforms: All members of the contracting landscaping workforce staff shall wear clean, high visibility shirt or vest as part of the uniforms. Uniforms shall not be the same color as the Authority’s uniform color ‘navy blue’. The uniform shirt shall have the company’s name and/or logo.
