Specifications include, but are not limited to: Denton County is seeking formal written proposals to obtain a qualified vendor to provide services for Denton County’s pre-employment screenings, random and postaccident drug and alcohol testing, and Department of Transportation (DOT) Physicals. All testing must be performed by a medical laboratory accredited by The College of American Pathologists (CAP), and/or a forensic laboratory certified by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Department of Transportation (DOT) Part 40 DOT Policies notice, physical examinations must be performed by a person that is licensed, certified, and/or registered by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry. Denton County reserves the right to award the RFP as it is determined to be in the best interest of the County.
