Replace existing over 1329 WAPs district wide (at least 23 of the WAP’s are outdoor units). Provide one outdoor rated WAP and 15 indoor rated WAPs as hot spares (installation will not be necessary for these spare units and they should be considered non-eligible for e-Rate reimbursement). Ensure the new WAP is installed where the previous WAP physically located. Ensure all WAP’s are physically labeled/named using current district standard nomenclature. All WAP locations are physically labeled on ceiling grid (or hard lid as appropriate, mounts, etc.) using current district nomenclature for the network closet/patch panel, and port information. Upload MSD blueprints/drawings to product dashboard. Place WAP’s and objects (walls, etc.) appropriately and accurately on the uploaded building maps within the dashboard of the management software. Ensure all WAP’s have the proper SSID’s assigned to them within the WAP management software. Ensure all WAP's are properly tuned and optimized for proper power output, density, and reliability (typically 11dBi to 17 dBi). Ensure all old WAP’s are disposed of per district policies and removed from WAP management software (this will be coordinated with MSD). Provide full inventory documentation. Ensure WAP’s fit current mounting solutions or provide/install appropriate mounting as approved by MSD.
