Sources Sought Notice (SSN) Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO16) This SSN is for market research and planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Task Execution Plan, Request for Quotation (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP). SCOPE The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide equipment to clean grill hoods and fans for CAVHS location of buildings on the Fort Roots campus of 76, 170, 202 and building on JLM Medical campus of building 1. GENERAL GUIDANCE Clean cleaning services to clean the vent hoods and fans of grease and dirt as prescribed below in the general requirements section. This equipment is located at the Fort Roots campus in North Little Rock and at JLM Medical Centers. WORK HOURS: All work pertaining to this contract will need to be performed Monday thru Friday unless a Federal Holiday falls on one of these days. The time frame will be whatever is needed to work around the different service schedule. Most of the work could be done between 7pm to 12am. This work timeframe is outside the normal hours of operations and must be coordinated on the days listed above unless unique situations arrive and prior approval between the contractor and CAVHS parties involved is agreed upon. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The contractor will provide all cleaning supplies and equipment needed to perform their duties. The following are the required equipment: Cover the equipment below the hood The contractor shall provide all equipment and adhere to all VA and Infectious Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) guidelines and regulations. All disposal costs and fees for debris removal will be the contractor s responsibility. Site shall always be kept clean and free from debris and contractor shall remove debris daily from the health care system property. Contractor will not be allowed to use Government tools, materials, and/or labor for this project.
