Medical Center at 2200 Fort Roots Drive North Little Rock, AR 72114.. The intent of this notice is to identify interested sources and their respective socio-economic groups. Responses to this sources-sought notice/market research may be used to issue the requirement as a set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. Standard company brochures will not be considered enough response to this Source Sought. Background: The NLR VA has recently replaced pipes that suffered steam and condensate leaks. However, due to the VA not having insulators, the NLR V.A. Medical Center is seeking a firm to install all insulation and jacketing in steam tunnel on Building 182 and all aluminum jacketing insulation on Building 111 steam line trench. The steam tunnels and trench that connect to Bldg. 182 and Bldg. 111 require regular replacement due to its location underground. Insulation ensures the safety of personnel from high temperatures, that it remains energy efficient, and that it has longevity. Contractor Requirements: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision necessary to provide insulation and jacketing to the steam tunnel and steam line trench for Bldg. 182 and 111, respectively, at the V.A. Medical Center at 2200 Fort Roots Drive North Little Rock, AR 72114. The contractor shall deliver and install new equipment (only) no later than 30 days from contract award and notice to proceed has been issued. All work shall be performed Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, excluding holidays.
