The City of Rosenberg is seeking quotes to update the flooring in Fire Station #2. Areas include the recreation room, two offices, and eight dorm rooms. Selected contractor will remove all carpet/rubber wall base and install new LVP flooring with 4” cove base. Room furnishings will be removed/moved by firefighters allowing contractor crews access to areas being worked on. The scope of work includes the complete removal of all existing carpeting and rubber wall base. Contactor will haul away all debris from project. The renovation will include floor preparation, installation of new Mohawk Laminate Vinyl Planks (LVP), and new 4-inch cove base consistent with current industry standards. This renovation is intended to improve durability, functionality, and sanitation within the fire station’s flooring.
