Specifications include, but are not limited to: The LADWPs SSD is seeking the services of an independent contractor capable of providing comprehensive surveillance activities, which may include but not limited to conducting covert investigations utilizing surveillance, video recording, and photography. 2.2 Description of Work To provide confidential field surveillance for investigations utilizing the necessary equipment and instrumentalities required to gather evidence. RFP No. RFP 1169-11 7 - 21 a) Provide comprehensive written reports and surveillance documentation, such as photographic, video and notes, in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. b) Ensure that only licensed investigators are provided for all contracted work. c) Ensure that investigators arrive on time for all scheduled assignments including any that may be scheduled for off hours. d) Provide investigative surveillance services after normal business working hours and on weekends and holidays. The assigned investigators may be required to work through lunch or after 5:00 p.m. e) Be available to work within a 24-hour period to begin a surveillance project. f) Work in collaboration with the Office of Special Investigation (OSI) and Security Services Division staff. g) Ensure that all Federal, State, City and LADWP regulations and rules are followed during surveillance investigations. h) Provide for, at no additional cost to the LADWP, all Contractors overhead expenses including, but not limited to parking, clerical, telephone and other overhead costs.
