The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for the qualification and production of the F-15 Passive Attack Display (PAD) for use by the United States Air Force (USAF).
This is an acquisition for the logistics and sustaining engineering services required to sustain and maintain the fielded PAD units. These services include the provisioning of spares, spares support, upgrades to firmware/hardware/logic/software, technical support, repairs, regression testing, configuration management, packaging, handling, storage and transportation to include shipping & receiving, cybersecurity compliance, inventory control, support equipment and travel.
The PAD provides the capability to display three separate NTSC video sources (vid1, vid2, and vid3) in EIA RS-170A format, in a 1:1 aspect ratio, on its display simultaneously. The PAD also generates and presents radar-warning receiver overlaid on the pod video source, and presents engine instrument data as commanded by the pilot. Required services are categorized based on the performance objectives, to include: (1) Minor Repair and Refurbishment, (2) Major Repair and Refurbishment, and (3) Beyond Economic Repair.
