The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mission Support Battalion (UMSB) has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract for purchase and delivery of electrical engineering supplies for the 249th Engineering Battalion, Alpha Company, at Schofield Barracks, HI. A draft Purchase Description describing the supplies required has been attached. The proposed contract is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price contract procured below the simplified acquisition threshold. The delivery date is no later than sixty (60) days after the date of contract award.
Interested SMALL BUSINESS vendors with NAICS code 335999, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing, are encouraged to submit a capability package with the following information:
- Organization name, location, and CAGE Code
- Socioeconomic Status
- Company's capability to provide supplies with the listed specifications
- Comments on draft PD
Please provide a capabilities statement that addresses the following questions as part of the capability package:
- Company Information: Please provide your company name, address, point of contact with email and phone number, UEI number, and CAGE code.
- Business Status: What is your company's business size and socioeconomic status (e.g., Small Business, 8(a) participant, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), etc.)?
- Supply Capability: Can your company provide all the materials listed in the purchase description? If not, please identify which items you can supply. Are you the manufacturer or a distributor for the specified items?
- "Or Equal" Items: Several items on the list include specific brand names or part numbers. Are you able to provide these exact items? If you intend to propose "or equal" products, please describe your process for providing technical specifications and data to prove equivalency.
- Logistics and Delivery: Describe your company's experience and capability in shipping and delivering materials to Hawaii. Can you meet the required delivery timeframe of 60 days after award?
- Past Performance: Briefly describe up to three similar projects from the last five years where your company provided similar types of materials to a government or commercial entity. Please include the customer name, contract value, and a brief description of the products provided.
- Contract Vehicles: Does your company have any existing government-wide contract vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedule, SEWP, etc.) that could be used for this type of procurement? If so, please list them.
