A. FENCE INSTALLATION 1. Provide and install a commercial grade 7-foot high chain-link fence with outrigger arms. 2. Provide and install 3 strands of barbed wire along the top of the fence. 3. Fence posts shall be installed at an average of 10 feet apart, depending on terrain. 4. Provide and install bottom tension wire along the base of the fence fabric. B. GATE INSTALLATION 1. Furnish and install one 20-foot-wide double swing gate, consisting of two 10-foot gate panels. 2. Gates shall be constructed of commercial grade chain-link matching the fence fabric. 3. Include heavy duty hinges, latch, and locks to ensure proper function and security. C. MATERIALS 1. Fence fabric: Commercial grade, galvanized steel chain-link. 2. Line posts, terminal posts, and gate posts: Galvanized steel, sized for a 7-foot fence with barbed wire outriggers. 3. Tension wire: Galvanized steel bottom tension wire. 4. Barbed wire: Three strands, galvanized, mounted on outrigger arms. 5. All hardware, ties, and fasteners shall be galvanized for durability. 6. Concrete: All terminal and gate posts have to be set in concrete footings. D. WORKMANSHIP 1. Fence line shall follow existing site contours while maintaining uniform height where feasible. 2. All posts shall be plumb, aligned, and properly braced. 3. Gates shall swing freely, latch securely, and align with the fence line. 4. Work shall comply with ASTM standards for commercial chain-link fencing. E. SITE REQUIREMENTS 1. Contractor shall coordinate fence layout and gate placement with the Chapter prior to installation.
