Specifications include, but are not limited to: Summary of Work: Project consist of the replacement of (1) low-slope built-up asphalt and gravel roof (BUR) broken up into (1) Base Bid and (4) alternate roof areas for a combined (+/-17,000sf) in total area. Work will incorporate but is not limited to the following: 1.) Interior Protection at exposed metal decking. 2.) 100% tear-off of the existing roof down to metal deck. 3.) Install new tapered insulation to promote proper drainage to existing roof drains. 4.) Install new fully adhered 2-ply modified bitumen roof system. 5.) Remove existing skylights and install new double-pitched skylights with insulated glass. 6.) Some masonry repairs to walls and chimney. 7.) Raise existing RTU curbs as called out in drawings and Specifications 8.) Supply and install new prefinished metal copings that completely cover the existing parapet walls. 9.) Supply and install new tie-off stanchions and walk pads for Christmas displays per drawings and specifications. All work to provide for a complete installation and be carried out in a timely manner according to the Contract Documents. Proposed Completion date August 30, 2021.
