MK99 FCS Mod X program seeks to modernize and redesign components of the AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) MK99 Fire Control System (FCS). The requirements include redesign and prototype of the below-deck equipment of the existing MK 99 FCS for new construction AWS capable ships. The below-deck equipment currently consists of:
- T1348/SPG Radar Transmitter,
- MK200 Mod 0/1 Director Controller, and
- MK15 Mod 1 Data Converter Cabinets.
The Government is seeking a design and prototype of a modular cabinet(s) and system configuration that may fit through ship hatches, passageways, and be readily upgradable electronic systems for the future. The design must be suitable for use and operation on Navy ships and surface platforms, at development and tactical sites, and on international ships.
Interested parties are expected to follow instructions in the Statement of Need attachment.
