The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. (v) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to make a procurement for a patient monitoring system for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. This solicitation is being procured as a brand name or equal IAW 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal. The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics: Patient Monitor Display and Computer: Must be at least a 15-inch screen to monitor hemodynamic parameters Main physiological parameter module: Must be able to acquire patient parameter data from the cables connected to the patient including: ECG, respiration, temperature, SpO2, non-invasive blood pressure, invasive blood pressure and carbon dioxide monitoring Must have a display and be able to disconnect from the patient monitor display/computer to be used as a patient transport monitor Overall system must have an extension module that monitors continuous CO2 from the patient and can be attached to either the Patient Monitor Display/Computer or the Main physiological parameter module The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality and services that will be satisfactory.
