Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2022 Water Main Replacement project which includes the replacement of approximately 2,050 feet and 1,200 Feet of 2-inch polyethylene water main with 2-inch HDPE water main along Ellen Brook Road and Old Lantern Road, respectively. In addition, the following streets will be considered as Additive Alternates to the project; replacement of 950 feet, 1,850 feet, 1,400 feet, 900 feet, 1,000 feet, 1,150 feet, 3,150 feet, 650 feet, and 2,750 feet of 2-inch/3-inch PVC/Polyethylene water main with 2-inch HDPE piping along Bobolink Lane, Deerpoint Drive, Racoon Alley, Skyview Lane, Turtle Bridge Crossing, Moccasin Trail, Winter Road, Birch Tree Lane, and Autumn Road, respectively. The work includes the installation of water mains, fittings and appurtenances, services (to the property line), valves, flushing hydrants, temporary water, erosion controls, and traffic control. A final Additive Alternate includes the installation of a meter pit at each residence in the base bid.
