Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.The generator shall be a Tier 3 emergency generator in skin tight enclosure. The supplier shall deliver the equipment to the site and shall set the equipment in place. The concrete pad and final connections to the equipment shall be by the electrical contractor for a concurrent construction project. 2. Include information on availability of replacement parts for the engine and alternator and the typical lead time for parts to repair the engine or alternator. 3. Include drawings showing the dimensions of the generator enclosure including required clearances for access panels, doors, etc. 4. NDSU is tax free. Electrical contractor shall pay all required sales tax, fees, and insurance costs to furnish the items listed above. 5. Include at minimum (1) semi annual inspection and (1) annual inspection in the proposal. 6. Include an anticipated delivery date for the equipment with the proposal. 7. Include startup costs for the generator including fuel and coordinate with the open transition transfer switches that are been furnished under a separate construction project. In addition, the supplier shall also prepare shop drawings for all equipment as required by the specifications for approval by the Engineer prior to release. A one year warranty on all material and labor shall be furnished in accordance with the specifications.
