1) The City of New Orleans (“City”) solicits bids to obtain a requirements contract to provide wrecker towing services for all City of New Orleans equipment including automobiles, light trucks, suv’s, medium and heavy trucks (over 1 ton), and various types of miscellaneous construction and heavy equipment as notated on the bid form. 2) The City will award contract on a total basis to the responsive and responsible bidder(s) that provides the lowest cost as quoted on the bid form. 3) Bidders shall have a full service wrecker and towing fleet and facility located within a fifteen (15) mile radius of the Equipment Maintenance Division, 3800 Alvar St. 4) All billing invoices must include the following information and must be signed by an authorized City personnel (if available) requesting services: 1.City Department Vehicle Number 2.Type of equipment 3.Vin # 4.Location of tow and destination 5.Time of arrival 6.Total time of tow (example; 1hr or 1hr. 15min., etc.) 7.Total cost
