Specifications include, but are not limited to: The STATE seeks to overhaul the entire ND.gov digital experience, which is happening in three major phases: Architecture and Development Evaluate current Drupal 8 website hosting and development processes, including but not limited to: standing up new sites, patching sites, repo management, QA, and hosting architecture. Recommend future state architecture and development processes. Work with STATE staff to implement recommendations. Migrating Websites Follow existing STATE processes to migrate websites to the enterprise Drupal 8 WCMS. Work includes but is not limited to planning, execution, testing, implementation, and closeout. Content Strategy and Page Templates Work with STATE Digital Services to create an enterprise content strategy. Research content approaches taken by other state (e.g. Georgia) and federal (e.g. Cananda.ca and Gov.UK) entities. Recommend future enterprise content strategy and page templates, which may include: information architecture approach that ensures content is located on the right website (i.e. Agency site or ND.gov Portal). New page template and content types to ensure consistent information presentation and enable content syndication. Written content standards to ensure consist writing styles across websites. Modern, Consistent, Usable Design Work with STATE Digital Services to create a digital style guide and/or a full design system (i.e. style guide + components + templates + code) to create consistent digital experiences across websites and applications. Create processes to ensure style guide/design system can be maintained by STATE staff for long-term success. ND.gov Portal Using UX methods, research user needs and how the site content, information architecture, design, and functionality meet those needs. Recommend improvements based on research. Phases will be managed on a day-to-day basis by a dedicated Project Manager from the STATE, who is supported by the Chief Reinvention Officer and Chief Information Officer.
