Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project 1 The purpose of this study is to evaluate and report the direct and secondary economic impacts of North Dakota’s 16 state park locations. Project: 2 The purpose of this study is to gain information about visitor use patterns, socio-demographic characteristics, satisfaction with park programs, facilities and services expectations, and visitor spending at all 16 state park locations in North Dakota through a survey instrument and a report. Study should also survey qualified residents and non-residents who do not use ND State Parks and identify what would encourage them to seek out state parks for recreation, relaxation and other experiences. Project 3: The purpose of this study is to develop a community survey to further understand the local perception and knowledge about state parks, to identify potential partnerships with communities to encourage tourism, recreation, education and economic development and to provide a report.
