All meters bid will meet or exceed A.W.W.A. Cold Water Meter Standards C700/C701/C702/C715 in specifications, materials, chamber size, head loss, accuracy and all other aspects of the Standards Specifications. All meters shall be warranted to meet or exceed A.W.W.A. New Meter Repair and Accuracy Standards for a period of five years from date of purchase/shipment and all disc and compound meters shall be warranted to meet or exceed A.W.W.A. Repaired Meter Accuracy Standards for a period of fifteen years from date of purchase/shipment. All meters, straight connectors and flange connectors shall be compliant with the Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act (P.O. 111-380).
