The 5th Contracting Squadron is requesting information from interested firms capable of providing the following items:
Description of items: The contractor should be capable of providing a complete, commercially available, off-the-shelf Virtual Scenario Trainer (VST) system to enhance training capabilities for operations support. The VST should require no additional development for deployment and must meet the salient characteristics (see attachment) for supporting multi-mission facets, including convoy movements, facility recapture, and asset recovery.
This Request for Information (RFI) is for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. We request that an estimated price of these items is provided for planning purposes. Your response will be treated as information only and shall not be used as a proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this request or to otherwise pay for the information requested. The Government will utilize the following information for determining an acquisition strategy:
1. Summarize your company’s capability and qualifications to provide these types of items.
2. Provide North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code that the company operated under for these items.
3. Provide the current business size status (i.e., Large, Small Business, SBA 8(a) participant, Hubzone, etc.) associated with the NAICS identified above.
4. Provide Product or Service Code (PSC) that the company operated under for these items.
Written RFI responses must be received no later than 13 May 2025, 12:00 PM CDT.
