Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et. seq.), this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is being issued to establish one or more contracts with one or more qualified Offerors who will provide Vending Service to the Georgia Highlands College (hereinafter, “the State Entity”) as further described in this RFP. The initial term of the contract(s) shall be from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. The State’s fiscal year is from July 1st through June 30th. The State Entity shall possess five (5) one (1) year option(s) to renew, which options shall be exercisable at the sole discretion of the State Entity. Renewal will be accomplished through the issuance of Notice of award Amendment. In the event that the contract(s), if any, resulting from the award of this RFP shall terminate or be likely to terminate prior to the making of an award for a new contract for the identified products and/or services, the State Entity may, with the written consent of the Awarded Offeror(s), extend the contract(s) for such period of time as may be necessary to permit the State Entity’s continued supply of the identified products and/or services. The contract(s) may be amended in writing from time to time by mutual consent of the parties. Unless this RFP states otherwise, the resulting award of the contract(s) does not guarantee volume or a commitment of funds
