Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request For Quote (RFQ) is to obtain unarmed security guard services from prospective qualified companies to provide unarmed security guard services during normal business hours needs for the Georgia Student Finance Authority (GSFA) facility located at 2082 East Exchange Place, Tucker, Georgia. GSFA is seeking a security service contractor to man the building's main lobby during GSFA's operational hours, 6:30 a.m. till 8:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m. till 5:30 p.m. Friday, or until alarm activation. The contracted company must be able to respond with staff replacements to the premises within 20 minutes of call identifying that the guard has not shown up for work. This is excluding any State of Georgia observed holidays. The contracted guard will be required to: * Dress in a uniform and appear professional at all times. * Be on premise prior to building opening daily by the automated system. * Be on premise at door closing and securing by the automated system. The contracted guard will be required to: (cont.) * Sign in each visitor entering the building. * Escort staff to vehicle in building parking lot if requested. * Contact building occupants for visitor meetings. * Walk the exterior premise on a routine basis. * Maintain book and time log. * Maintain incident reports and log. * Escort terminated staff out of building when requested. * Monitor agency vendors' entry and exiting. * Monitor all walk- in traffic for proper identification. * Maintain GSFA requested guidelines. * Check building interior and doors nightly. * Communicate with GSFA contracted janitorial staff, if needed. * Open assigned doors as requested by GSFA management at each business day opening. * Secure doors as requested by GSFA management at close of each business day. * Maintain order at all times. The following behaviors are considered unacceptable: shouting; abusive language; threat of violence to clients, staff and visitors, loitering; fighting in restricted areas.
