The State intends to make a noncompetitive purchase. The Intended Source will provide assistance and technical support on eWIC LegeNDS, WIC Direct and Data Direct for the North Dakota (ND) Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program management information system and electronic benefit transfer (EBT) host system. eWIC LegeNDS is a web-based system used by the ND WIC Program. eWIC LegeNDS has several features to stream-line WIC participant certification, care plan and follow-up; food package issuance; etc. WIC Direct and Data Direct are hosted by our EBT contractor and are associated with EBT transaction information, Not to Exceed (NTE) management and reporting. The Intended Source must have experience with the federal WIC program, WIC EBT and WIC management information systems, specifically the Mountain Plains State Consortium (MPSC) system functionality and the WIC Direct and Data Direct platforms. The Intended Source must have experience working with the State WIC staff and local agency staff across the state of ND as they work with both the WIC EBT contractor and the current eWIC LegeNDS maintenance and operations contractor. The Intended Source will work on a variety of diverse responsibilities including reviewing contractor deliverables, testing the system, submitting tickets and helping to manage the help desk system, working on FDP files and troubleshooting eWIC LegeNDs issues.
