Specifications include, but are not limited to: On-sire security services from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM daily, at the Minot State University Campus. Professional appearance – uniform and identification provided by contractor Professional interaction with all individuals on campus Respond to security related calls for service – suspicious persons, lock and unlock of campus doors Respond to calls for service at Blue Light locations Visible patrol and presence on campus Check exterior and interior of campus buildings for unauthorized persons or activity Check securement of interior and exterior doors Monitor and answer calls to the MSU Security cell phone Respond to requests for “Safe Walk” escorts on the MSU campus Respond to fire alarms – reset fire alarm systems in all buildings once the emergency is resolved – communicate with Simplex and Minot Central Dispatch Contact Minot Central Dispatch for response to law violations – alcohol, drugs, or any crime of violence unless victim is allowed to have complete confidentiality (sexual assault, stalking, domestic disturbance, etc.) Contact Minot Central Dispatch when fire or ambulance response is needed At its discretion, MSU may require contract security to carry Narcan nasal spray to block or reverse the effects of the abuse of opioid medication Contract employees will complete Clery Campus Security Training (provided by MSU Security) Monitor security cameras for suspicious activity Document all calls for service and patrol activity daily
