Recruitment services for professional medical services positions predominately psychiatrists. Our psychiatrist positions are state employees working in either inpatient or out-patient facilities. The inpatient facility is at North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH) located in rural Jamestown, ND with a population of 15,000. The NDSH is a Joint Commission accredited and Medicare certified hospital with a bed count of 291 (adult and adolescent) psychiatric, chemically dependent and secure service populations. The psychiatrist will be responsible for daily rounds 50% time with patients participate in rotation for limited hospital-wide call present legal testimony record diagnostic and mental status interviews record physical exam reports record weekly progress notes provide leadership for clinical team participate in peer review obtain a minimum of 25 hours of CMEs per year maintain competencies achieve/maintain board certification, and other duties and responsibilities assigned. The position requires North Dakota licensure Board Certified or Board eligible with the intent of pursuing Board Certification in a reasonable period of time. The out-patient facilities are located in any one of the eight regional human service centers located in cities across rural North Dakota. Psychiatrists in a Regional Human Service Center will be responsible for providing psychiatric services to patients receiving services on an out-patient basis. State intends to enter into a recruitment agreement for the period January 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, with three options to renew for a period of up to 24 months each.
