North Dakota State University and Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute (NDSU-UGPTI) are requesting information to prepare for an anticipated competitive bid to procure a Learning Management System (LMS) capable of providing an integrated module that can accomplish registration, training, payments, exams, and a database to track certifications and licenses. NDSU-UGPTI is seeking information about the best practices/methods and current technologies to prepare for an anticipated competitive procurement for provision to implement a fully integrated module to accomplish at a minimum: Self-service registration for internal and external customers and staff. The registration system prevents duplicate entries (class sign-up, names of users) The ability to combine or change registrant's information, like name, address, if a second account is found. . On-line training-instructor led or self-paced . Timed exams and randomized question bank . Database to track certifications/licenses and provide a public-facing search for our customers . Ability to perform data analytics . Accept payments . Automated responses regarding class information, payments, changes made to trainings and such.
