3.01 Scope of Work The contractor will be required to provide the following to achieve the objective of this project: A. Design and facilitate a 60-90 minute bi-monthly (two times per month) virtual network for Legendary Learners (ND CLIMBS) Literacy Coordinators in years one through four (September 2025 – June 30, 2029) B. Research and design a collaborative network approach to help coordinators lead teams in improving literacy B-5 literacy opportunities. C. Establish relationships with the coordinators to gather information and design the network's content and topics, responding to emerging needs. D. Develop and deliver a process to provide focused topics for the network group that are supported by relevant learning, resources, strategies, and tools to aid coordinators in implementing E. Maintain accurate records of events and provide biannual reports. F. Provide information and implementation support for coordinators to learn about and implement research-based early literacy practices in their school and community. Learning can include, but is not limited to, evidence-based research, leadership processes such as team agenda development, goal setting, tools and resources, collaborative opportunities, program monitoring approaches, identifying partners, needs sensing, and responsive program development. G. Support local development and implementation for kindergarten transition and increase opportunities for four-year-olds. H. Organize and facilitate collaborative events for observation and network learning of evidencebased approaches hosted at appropriate network schools or early learning sites as applicable and desired by network participants. It is not required that the contract facilitator be on site, but that they have adequately prepared participants with tools and protocols for these learning events and provide timely follow-up debriefing support. I. Publish event recordings and resources on the ND Educational Hub for those unable to attend to access and complete assignment/exit ticket for attendance credit. This Canvas platform is used for access for free professional development courses for North Dakota Educators. The ND Educational Hub directors require that all course developers meet the training requirements to create coursework on this platform. This is a back-up method. Coordinators should regularly be attending the virtual meeting in real time to engage with the facilitator and fellow network members. J. Collaborate with the ND CLIMBS website coordinator to publish public information and resources. K. In years three and four, the contractor will scale up the network to transition one of the webinars each month to provide public access to other North Dakota educators to learn about early literacy community and kindergarten transition best practices for birth-five.
