The master plan should provide a 20-year outlook for the capitol complex. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to: A. Public and stakeholder engagement; B. Office space, restroom, and parking needs analysis; C. Recommendations for short and long-term campus preservation and development; D. Recommendations for vehicle and pedestrian circulation, walkways, and parking; E. Recommendations for current and future monument and statue locations; F. Phasing and implementation strategies; and G. Estimates of probable costs. The nine-member Capitol Grounds Planning Commission will serve as a steering committee for this project. At a minimum, the firm providing the master planning services will attend one Capitol Grounds Planning Commission meeting to kick-off the project, one milestone meeting to gather additional input, and one meeting to present the final master plan. Additional meetings may be scheduled at the discretion of the commission.
