The Contractor shall, at their own expense, provide one (1) logging unit, all material, equipment and labor necessary for the completion of the borehole logging work in southwestern North Dakota. The logging unit shall be equipped with instrumentation capable of continuous chart recording of natural gamma, high resolution density, caliper, and wet and/or dry resistivity logs for coal exploration. The recordings (caliper, gamma, resistivity, and density) shall be made on one log in a single pass. Recording scales of logs shall be determined by the Survey geologist and re-checked for optimum definition throughout the project. The Contractor shall provide the Survey geologist with two copies of the log. At the conclusion of the project, the Contractor shall provide the Geological Survey with electronic files in a tif, jpg or pdf format of each log from the project. Work shall be performed in strict conformity with such plans and specifications as set forth herein and in strict accordance with the requirements of all municipal, state and Federal authorities having jurisdiction of the premises. Contractor shall comply in strict accordance with the requirements of the North Dakota Radiological Health Program (NDCC 23-20.1). A geophysical logging unit consists of: A. One portable, 4-wheel drive, logging vehicle capable of logging to a depth of 400 feet. B. One qualified operator/driver. C. All tools and materials incidental to the logging work.
