The Georgia Department of Transportation, Office of Intermodal Programs-Aviation is soliciting Statements ofqualification from qualified and experienced engineering firms or organizations to provide professional aviationsystems planning and engineering services and to develop and prepare specialty studies in support ofGeorgia s Aviation Program. Aviation System Planning Studies: A Statewide Aviation Systems Plan Update shall consist of a detailedstudy of all general aviation and commercial public use airports in the State of Georgia resulting in thedocumentation of the airports and airport related facilities needed to meet the current and future airtransportation needs of the state. The study will be conducted in accordance with Federal AviationAdministration (FAA) Advisory Circular 15/5070-7, The Airports System Planning Process. The study shallidentify the aeronautical role of each airport and describe the development required at each, includingtimeframe and estimated costs.
