Specifications include, but are not limited to: Remove all snow from the Century Center parking lots identified in Appendix “A” before 6:00 AM weekdays and to remove snow piles from the lots within 24 hours after the snow fall. Sand will be spread as required to prevent falls and accidents during icing conditions. State may request sand and snow removal services during business hours as conditions require. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES The snow removal contractor duties include, but are not limited to: Clear snow from all parking lots and roadways on Century Center property located at 1600 East Century Avenue before 6:00 AM Monday – Friday Respond to sand and snow removal request during business hours. Haul away any snow that is stockpiled in designated areas within 24 hours of the last snow fall Provide all equipment and labor necessary to remove any accumulation greater than one inch of snow from the parking lots and roadways Minimum equipment requirements are: Loaders must have 2 cubic yard buckets or larger (contractor must have at least one loader of this size) Trucks must have 10 cubic yard boxes or larger (contactor must have at least two trucks with boxes of this size) The proposal must include an hourly rate for all equipment, which includes the equipment operators time, that is to be used for snow removal process (provide a description of each piece of equipment that is to be used) Contractor must indicate the distance to the snow removal dump site from Century Center and approximate travel time to and from the dump site. Provide a per cubic yard rate for salt sand and an hourly rate for the sanding truck.
