Specifications include, but are not limited to: Purpose of RFP: To solicit proposals from qualified consulting firms that can assist the State of North Dakota Information Technology Department and agency users with the development of state-wide Business Intelligence strategies and enterprise architecture. The State of North Dakota is seeking product neutral consulting services to assist in the planning, coordination and implementation of business intelligence initiatives. The successful offeror will have a strong history in BI methodology and technologies. Engagements will include planning, coordination, and implementation of state-wide strategies and enterprise architecture as well as individual agency engagements. It is the intent to award a two year contract with two renewal options for 12 months each for services as needed. The vendor will engage with ITD and state agencies on business intelligence strategies, requirements, methodologies, product recommendations, and organizational adoption strategies to provide a roadmap and recommendations for a state enterprise BI approach. The vendor will engage with agencies to contribute an overall agency strategy, assisting with process development and forecasting organizational change. The goal is to assist the State in establishing and expanding the understanding and use of BI, accelerate the adoption of BI, and create reusable methodologies for current and future projects.
