The Wayne County Board of Education is soliciting informal bids for bleacher removal and replacement at Southern Wayne High School. Exact specifications and details are included as attachments to this solicitation and bidder must be or employ a licensed general contractor. The Board will accept bids until October 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Bids may be sent through email or by mail to: Attn: Dr. Gary Hales, 2001 E. Royall Avenue, Goldsboro, NC, 27634. The Board will award the bid to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. All bids and resulting contracts are subject to the Wayne County Board of Education’s Standard Terms and Conditions which are included with this solicitation. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any minor deviations or defects.

All Contractors are invited to visit the site at 2:00 PM on October 20, 2025, to review the site. If Contractor cannot make this time work, a site visit will need to be scheduled with the Maintenance Director for Wayne County Public Schools, Mr. Dean Bridgers, via email at DeanBridgers@wcps.org. During the site visit, the Contractor shall review the site specifications and shall take measurements of the site. Contractor shall rely on its own measurements in the submission of its bid. Any Contractor who does not visit the site will be rejected for a failure to comply with the terms of the bid.
