Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of work includes the pruning for Crown Elevation and lifting, removal of the lower branches for clearance, removal of overweight branches, dead branches and Crown reduction of tops, sides or individual limbs. The under clearance for branches will be twenty (20) feet above finish grade. Pruning shall be completed in a manner that no branches contact the building structures, roofing, gutters, fencing and/or impedes walkways and driveways. The contractor’s ISA certified arborist will oversee pruning to be conducive to promote good tree health and also be proportionally balanced. When arbor culturally appropriate, tree wound paint (specially formulated for this application) will be used to protect trees from the spread of pathogens and use disinfectant on tree cutting equipment 20.2 All wood waste and debris produced under this contract shall be removed by the Contractor the same day it is produced. When equipment or vehicles are used on turf or on the tree root zones the Contractor shall use ground protection equipment to protect soil from compaction and turf damage. Any damage shall be repaired by the Contractor at no cost to the agency, to include tire rut repair with top soil, over seeding and stabilization/straw. 20.3 Most trees are Willow oaks also known as pin oak, peach oak and swap chestnut oak. The count is approximately 75 tress that need to be addressed The list/ count may not be all-inclusive based upon the contractors/arborist’s professional recommendations and expertise.
