Provide inspection services for SCMs that are owned and operated by the City of Raleigh. Inspections should adhere to City requirements as outlined on the City’s SCM Inspection website (https://raleighnc.gov/stormwater/services/submit-stormwater-device-inspectionreport). Inspections shall be accompanied by an inspection report that will be reviewed by the Raleigh Stormwater SCM & Dams Asset Manager prior to being submitted to the inspection review group. Inspection report requirements are outlined on the website and shall also include all maintenance recommendations. Additionally, qualified inspectors may be asked to provide support in updating O&M Manuals and/or provide minor design modifications for specific SCM components based on results of inspections and site-specific maintenance needs. Prior to conducting inspections, the As-builts and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manual should be reviewed for each site. As-built and O&M Manuals will be provided by the City. SCM inspections for the City of Raleigh must be performed by either a Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Landscape Architect (RLA), or Professional Land Surveyor. This City will provide the work order history for each device. The inspection report shall note past work done on the SCM. The inspection report should also contain recommendations for repairs or additional maintenance if needed.
