Item One:Repair damaged electrical equipment Use an existing generator to maintain power to the underground vault until service is repaired (bypassing normal power service). Disconnect power to normal power service (Duke Power). Dig up conduit and check for damage where conduit connects to the underground vault. Repair any damages and ensure conduit is sealed and water tight. Reconnect all conduits and rebuild electrical service rack and remount all service equipment plum and square. Replace any equipment damaged from the accident (TVSS/Surge Suppressor). Test all wiring to ensure insulation integrity, replace any damaged wiring. Reconnect normal power service (Duke Energy). Once normal power is restored reconnect the existing generator to the existing transfer switch. Test function of transfer switch and service equipment. Item Two: Repair damaged fencing Replace fencing around pump station site as needed with 6' galvanized 9 gauge chainlink with 3 strand barb wire around top. Install 4’ walk in gate on west side by parking area inward opening 180 degrees . Install “Stymielock”( 1.888.278.9643 Stymielock PO Box 1228 Pineville, NC 28134 ) on the gate with places for 2 locks.
