Specifications include, but are not limited to: DHHS seeks several Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to oversee and manageup to twenty (20)multi-year programs supported by PDG B-5. SMEswill lead the strategic direction of multiple initiatives by developing program strategies, implementation plans (i.e. project planning; project budget/cost control; risk/issue management; change control processes; approval of deliverables; and, communications), staffing and vendor resource needs, and reporting on project achievementsand status. SMEswill be assigned a portfolio of programs –some focused on, for example, using technology, communications, and eligibility integration to facilitate preschool to kindergarten transitions; others focused on family engagement and home visiting strategies; and others focused on early childhood teacher professional development and job-embedded coaching.Anticipatedkey results of the program include babies havingfewer emergency room visits during their first year of life,young children will live in families with the knowledge, tools and resources necessary to support their healthy development; infants, toddlers and preschoolers will be healthier and better prepared for school with early childhood teachers skilled to support their healthy development; and preschoolers will have better, more individualized transition support for success entering kindergarten.
