1. Routine Pumping/Cleaning Service: a. The vendor shall provide pumping/cleaning services each month (twelve (12) times per year) on a date and at a time mutually agreeable with the vendor and the Department, unless otherwise specified by the facility Maintenance Supervisor when unusual circumstances dictate otherwise. b. The vendor shall provide pumping/cleaning services every forty-five (45) days of one (1) Sewage Pump Station. c. Regularly scheduled or routine servicing shall be coordinated and agreed upon with the facility Maintenance Supervisor. d. The vendor shall pump out the grease trap in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with local, state, and federal laws, regulations and/or ordinances. e. The suctioning hose used shall be capable of reaching the bottom of the compartment being suctioned at all four corners of that compartment. f. Routine pumping/cleaning shall not require the use of additional rinse water to increase solids capture. g. If necessary, grease trap pumping/cleaning service may be accomplished multiple pulls. If two or more pulls are required, all pulls must be completed within forty-eight (48) hours of pumping service start date. 2. Non-Scheduled Cleaning: a. The vendor shall respond to Non-Scheduled service calls within twenty-four (24) hours. Unscheduled cleaning is meant to include cleaning required due to unusual or emergency situations as determined by the facility Maintenance Supervisor. Cleaning procedures employed for this process are the same as for routine cleaning.
