Mecklenburg County, located in the State of North Carolina, is seeking Bids/Proposals from qualified vendors to provide/perform Executive Search & Recruitment – County Manager. The intent of this Request for Proposal is for Mecklenburg County, North Carolina (County) to obtain proposals from highly qualified Executive Search firms to conduct a recruitment campaign for the position of County Manager. This opportunity will result in the successful recruitment of an experienced, skilled administrator to oversee the operations of Mecklenburg County Government and work with the elected board of commissioners for the administration of all departments of county government under the board’s general control. For more information about those powers and duties please refer to N.C. General Statute 153A-82. The County intends to award a contract to a firm that can review and enhance the County’s recruitment efforts, oversee a nationwide search, target qualified candidates, and assist with screening and interviewing candidates. The County reserves the right to modify the Scope of Services to include some or any part of the process outlined in this request.
