Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) The vendor shall also furnish a comprehensive Fire Ant program that will prevent fire ants from aggravating the Center grounds. b) All materials used in pest control treatment shall confirm to Federal, State and local ordinances and laws and shall be acceptable to BMNMTC. c) Rodenticides shall be used with all due precaution to obviate the possibility of accident or injury to humans, domestic animals, and pets. d) Special care shall be exercised in the use of liquid insecticides in areas having asphalt, mastic, or linoleum floor surfaces. e) All pest control work shall be performed in a safe, professional manner, in accordance with the most modern and effective pest control techniques and procedures. f) Vendors using chemicals considered hazardous or potentially hazardous to the health of humans and domestic animals, ground water contamination, etc., shall furnish to the site all appropriate and current Safety Data Sheets (SDS). g) Vendor will provide samples of any chemical they are using on-site when requested by authorized staff at any time during treatment on-site. h) Termite control and treatment will not be considered as part of this contract. i) Awarded Vendor will pick-up work orders from the Plant Ops Office weekly. j) A Grounds Services or Plant Ops staff member will escort the service technician to each location during a specified training period for up to three (3) months, then an escort will be provided as needed.
