Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Raleigh’s Transportation/Transit Division is soliciting for design services associated with the renovation and up fit of the second floor of the Craig Building, located at 221 So. Wilmington Street. The 1,725 sf space suffered water damage during last season’s hurricanes. The damaged areas of interior space have been removed and the space was dehumidified. The demolished areas included flooring, sheetrock, insulation, and electrical. A new roof was recently installed on the building. The interior space consists of 1,500 sf of conditioned space, plus 225 sf of stairs and landings. A specific use for the space has not been identified, but may include office, either occupied by City staff or leased, a conference area, or temporary space to house contractors.
