Specifications include, but are not limited to: North Carolina A&T State University Athletics seeks a full service contractor to design, enhance video platform, video syndication, host and maintenance. The existing website is http://www.ncataggies.com. The Universitys current contract expired in December 2012 therefore it is our intention to have a new contract in place soon. The selected contractor shall meet the following requirements: Deliver a detailed project management plan. These should include any staffing and other requirements including number of personnel that will manage the site at any given period during the project. Deliver a professional graphic design that presents a consistent University brand. The University is looking for two custom redesigns within the contract period. Technical Requirements Vendor must provide us with server space. The redesign will include a rotator ad bar above the article rotator, more space for advertising down the skyline of the page, a blogs and Lock TV page, a twitter, facebook and youtube, and instagram bar and a place for polls, current stories and upcoming games. Web provider must provide an enhanced video portal that supports multiple file formats for live video streaming and video on demand. A subscription model must also be provided. Cost for live webstreaming must be included in the overall RFP for website vendor. No cost per stream pricing will be allowed. A digital multi-platform solution for A&T Athletics must include the iPhone, Android applications and a custom mobile site. An option to explore responsive design should also be included. The option to waive both the one time set up fees (including the platform license, design, set up and activation) and annual hosting (and maintenance) fee for each mobile applications must be made available. Vendor must offer A&T Athletics the exclusive widget package to help drive awareness and market revenue opportunities. Company must agree to cover the fees for this service. Vendor must be willing to launch and host a microsite for the NCA&T donor site and services. This will allow the development arm of North Carolina A&T Athletics to attach itself to www.ncataggies.com for the purpose of promotion and raising money for the athletics department. Vendor must provide a cropping tool for photos within their operation system. Operation system must also allow for up 1,000 photos at time to be uploaded. Server must be able to hold up to a terabyte of information. Vendor must be able to create and update polls. Polls will give us an opportunity to ask users a question and have those users respond to the questions in order to increase traffic to the site. Provider will provide us with a platform in which to create such questions. Vendor must be able to help our organization and or our sponsors create web ads that include video and rotating images. Vendor will must able to troubleshoot uploaded live video provided by the athletics department. Content Management System must also provide newspaper links, e-mail blasts, a customized e-mail system, video trafficking, e-mail marketing and a Neilson site census. Vendor will also provide us an on-line auction we can manage through an e-commerce system. Web provider will be required to provide a 1-fan profile. This will allow fans to go online to set up an individual account that can be shared with other users. Vendor must be W3C HTML Validation 2.0 Level AA and Section 508 accessibility compliance Level 1 and Level 2
